Traditional Christmas Wreath Workshop at Crook Hall Gardens, Durham
Sunday 29th November, 11-2
💥 Access to Crook Hall Gardens is not step free, if you have any mobility concerns, please get in touch.
Come along to beautiful Crook Hall Gardens and join me for a few lovely hours of Christmas creativity, fresh festive foliage and plenty of beautiful decorations.
We'll start by mossing your wreath ring before binding a selection of fresh, seasonal foliage onto the frame. I'll show you how to build your wreath from the beginning, creating a lovely full base ready for decorating.
Then comes the fun part... choosing your decorations!
You'll have three different styles to choose from, so whether you love a traditional Christmas look or prefer something a little more natural, there's something to inspire you.
🎄 Traditional
A classic Christmas combination of reds and greens, with artificial red berries, dried fruit, pinecones and other festive touches.
🍋 Country Classic
A more natural, country-inspired style featuring lemons, feathers, pinecones and seasonal elements for a lovely rustic feel.
❄️ Winter White
A beautiful frosty palette with artificial white berries, dried fruit and other winter-inspired decorations for a softer seasonal look.
Once you've chosen your decorations, you can take your time making your wreath your own. We'll also have a lovely selection of pre-made bows in different colours and styles to add the perfect finishing touch.
When your wreath is complete, we'll add a backing to help protect both your wreath and your door, leaving you with something beautiful to hang and enjoy throughout the festive season.
Whether you're making a wreath for your own front door, creating a special gift or simply fancy a few hours away from the Christmas to-do list, this is a lovely way to get into the festive spirit.
Our workshops at The Northern Flower Garden are always fun and supportive where I demonstrate professional floristry techniques, share the tips and tricks and we’ll keep the creativity flowing with crafted drinks and homemade bakes from the National Trust team at Crook Hall Gardens.
