TradFest Paris 2026 ☘ Bodhrán & Pipes avec l'Association Irlandaise de Paris

A l'occasion du 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁 organisé par le Centre Culturel Irlandais (Paris 5e), dont l'Association Irlandaise de Paris est partenaire, nous renouvelons l'opération "𝗧𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁" ("𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘇 𝗹'𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿") qui avait remporté un grand succès en novembre dernier avec le "Try the Pipes" auquel nous vous avions convié(e)s pour célébrer l'International Uilleann Piping Day. Une première à Paris !
🎶 Cette fois-ci, le samedi 4 juillet, nous vous proposons de venir essayer deux instruments emblématiques de la musique traditionnelle irlandaise : à nouveau les 𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗻 𝗽𝗶𝗽𝗲𝘀 (avec notre intervenant 𝗦𝗲́𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝘂𝘁) mais aussi le 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝗵𝗿𝗮́𝗻 (avec notre spécialiste 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗶).
Juste après ce "Try the Bodhrán", Jean-Bernard animera un cours d'une heure (niveau débutant) et, en milieu d'après-midi, Sébastien donnera un mini-concert de uilleann pipes.
De nombreuses autres animations sont prévues ce 4 juillet (cours, masterclasses, concerts...), ainsi que les autres jours du TradFest, du 1er au 5 juillet, avec la présence de grand(e)s artistes venu(e)s d'Irlande et d'ailleurs. Nous vous attendons nombreuses et nombreux !

On the occasion of the 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁 organized by the Centre Culturel Irlandais (Paris 5th arr), of which the Association Irlandaise de Paris is a partner, we are renewing the "𝗧𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁" event, which was a great success last November with "Try the Pipes," to which we invited you to celebrate the International Uilleann Piping Day. A big premiere in Paris!
🎶 This time, on Saturday, July 4th, we invite you to come and try two iconic instruments of traditional Irish music: the 𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗻 𝗽𝗶𝗽𝗲𝘀 (with our tutor 𝗦𝗲́𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝘂𝘁) and also the 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝗵𝗿𝗮́𝗻 (with our specialist 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗶).
Right after this "Try the Bodhrán" workshop, Jean-Bernard will lead a one-hour beginner's class, and in the mid-afternoon, Sébastien will give a mini-concert on uilleann pipes.
Many other events are planned for July 4th (classes, masterclasses, concerts, etc.), as well as on the other days of the TradFest, from July 1st to 5th, featuring great Irish and international artists.. We look forward to seeing you there!
