About this Event

Our Camps:

The Skills Ontario Trades & Tech Summer Camps provide participants with the opportunity to explore careers in the skilled trade and technology fields in a hands-on camp setting!

Our camps allow youth throughout the province of Ontario to gain access to information on career pathways and opportunities, and practice essential skills needed to enter the skilled workforce. Campers will explore the industrial, construction, motive power, services and technology sectors through interactive games and activities.

Each camp session runs Monday-Friday, 9:00 to 4:00 each day. Our summer camps are intended for participants entering Grades 7-9 the following school year.

Skills Ontario works closely with our Camp Hosts and other local partners at each location to provide our participants with an exceptional and unique camp experience. Activities at each camp location may vary.

Session - Conestoga College - Waterloo Campus, July 6th-10th

In partnership with Conestoga College, we invite campers to join us for a fun and educational week of camp exploring a variety of skilled trade and technology sectors! This session will focus primarly on careers within the motive power sector.

The camp agenda will be available a minimum of one week before the camp start date. Please make sure to monitor your email for any camp-related announcements (including junk/spam folders).

Registration:

Registration closes at 1:30 p.m., the Thursday before the camp start date. When registering, please make sure to have your camper's health card, emergency contact information, and shoe size handy.

All campers will require an 'Informed Consent And Assumption Of Risk Form' to be completed by a parent/guardian before participating in camp activities. (The link to the form can be found in the registration confirmation email).

At Skills Ontario we are committed to providing a barrier-free environment which allows everyone to participate in our programs and competitions. Please include any requests for accomodations when completing our registration form.
