About this Event
Come together for our next Trade Room Talk! JOIN US Tuesday, April 8 from 6p-9p by mingling with familiar and new faces in the Trade Room at The Junto- a gorgeous new hotel just west of downtown in Franklinton, across from Cosi. Centered around the idea of coming together, The Junto welcomes all for this special series. There will be snacks and drinks available, lots of cozy seating and even a little outdoor space to hang out in.
Rachel, Baille, and Whitney will explore the theme of curious choices—how they shape self-clarity and connection. through playful exercises that invite vulnerability, we’ll guide participants to explore new ways to be present with ourselves and with others.
Rachel Joy Barehl is a lover of people, stories, a great question, and the kind of connection that makes the world feel a little softer. After a decade of capturing love stories as a wedding photographer, she’s reimagined her future—one where she’s not just behind the lens, but right in the middle of it all, helping singles navigate the sometimes clunky, always courageous act of putting themselves (back) out there. Through community building, creative invitations, and her superconnector magic, Rachel helps people move toward love—with others, with themselves, with the belief that it’s possible. She knows that love is for everybody, and that even if it wasn’t well modeled for us growing up, we can grow in our capacity to give and receive it…again and again.
Baille Younkman is an artist and educator from Columbus, OH. After studying fashion design and sculpture at the Savannah College of Art and Design, she moved to Brooklyn, where she began her practice as a costume designer for contemporary dance and performance art. It is there she is able to intersect her interests of the human form, time-based mediums and textiles. Since 2013, Baille has worked as an art and design educator, fostering creative classrooms for children of all ages. Currently, she is cultivating her eco-art practices and hosting monthly outdoor workshops that promote intergenerational connections, encouraging both adults and children to explore self-expression, compassion and their connection to nature.
Whitney Brewer is a multipreneur and Cuddle Party facilitator who thrives on creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, heard and deeply valued. Passionate about consent, communication, and the healing power of platonic touch, Whitney supports others in cultivating genuine bonds and emotional wellness in a world that craves deeper connection & consent-driven practices.
