Centered around the idea of coming together, The Junto welcomes all for this special series. Creative pursuits are built from an exploration of emotion and our unique responses to the world and the lives we live. The law is the opposite: structured, analytical, and predictable. So how can creatives that are also engaged in business handle this contradiction? Hear from two local attorneys that are also active musicians and artists on how creatives can handle the business and legal world and reflect honestly on how they reconcile these two very different ways of moving through the world.
A shareholder at Roetzel & Andress, where he counsels a wide range of creative and innovative businesses including marketing agencies, photographers, musicians, influencers, record labels, app developers, and web designers on the legal needs that drive their work. His practice focuses on corporate structuring, contract drafting and negotiation, copyright, and trademark registration and enforcement. Scott brings hands-on experience with high-stakes matters, from negotiating celebrity music talent agreements and multi-million-dollar sponsorships to supporting eight-figure equity raises and guiding clients through business sales, making him a trusted partner for creative entrepreneurs and businesses at every stage of growth. Scott is an active musician in the Columbus music scene and completed several U.S. tours prior to his career as an attorney.
Focusing his practice on transactions. As co-owner of Thomas Ingram Law Group in Columbus, OH, Stefan generally supports businesses, both for-profit and nonprofit, and entrepreneurs as outside general counsel. He also advises business executives, influencers, political leaders, religious luminaries, personalities, and boards on matters ranging from crisis management to the development and implementation of legal and business strategies. Stefan has successfully supported clients in a myriad of matters from purchasing developed and undeveloped commercial land in multimillion dollar transactions, acquiring businesses, and earning federal tax-exemption awards, to managing WARN regulations, overcoming OCRC and OSHA claims, advocating in local to federal litigation, and ending incursions on public repute. Along with his business practice, Stefan supports clients in commercial real estate, education, and Arts & Entertainment. Stefan is also a singer-songwriter who performs under the moniker, T.Wong. In 2024, he released his first novel, Talking to Crows, under Rockrose Publishing.
