Trade Mission | WindEurope 2026

Invest Nova Scotia, together with proponent Marine Renewables Canada (MRC), the Atlantic Provinces, and the Government of Canada, are pleased to invite export-ready clean energy and ocean technology companies from Atlantic Canada to participate in WindEurope 2026, taking place in Madrid, Spain, from April 21–23, 2026.

WindEurope 2026 is Europe’s premier annual conference and exhibition devoted to onshore and offshore wind energy. The event attracts more than 15,000 industry leaders, innovators, and buyers from across the global renewable energy sector, representing over 135+ countries. With more than 500 exhibitors, participants can explore advancements in turbine technology, engineering solutions, fabrication and marine logistics, digital innovation, grid integration, and the broader energy transition. Educational programming offers opportunities to attend technical sessions, networking events, business development activities, and more.

WindEurope 2026 is a unique opportunity for Atlantic Canadian renewable energy, marine supply chain, and clean technology companies to join the Atlantic Canada delegation and promote their capabilities within the MRC/Canada Pavilion. This mission provides an excellent platform for companies to meet with international developers, OEMs, utilities, investors, and supply chain partners while tapping into significant export opportunities in the European wind energy market.

Nova Scotia-based companies active in:

• Offshore wind development services and logistics
• Environmental monitoring and consulting
• Engineering, fabrication, and infrastructure
• Clean tech and renewable energy innovation
• Digital solutions for energy systems (e.g., AI, data analytics, grid tech)

Export-ready firms seeking:

• Entry into European wind energy markets
• Strategic partnerships with global developers and suppliers
• Visibility at one of the world’s largest wind energy exhibitions
• Engagement with international investors and buyers

• Access to the MRC/Canada Pavilion within the WindEurope exhibition.
• One (1) full conference delegate pass per company ($2,500.00 CAD value).
• Pre-mission meetings and briefings (virtual and in-market) with a dedicated consultant.
• Matchmaking support, including assistance preparing for the mission, business introductions, and B2B meeting coordination.
• A dedicated meeting room for use by mission delegates throughout the event.
• Networking opportunities with international industry leaders, buyers, and partners.
• Potential site visits organized during the mission.
• On-site support staff throughout the trade mission.

Spaces are limited for this trade mission. Applications will be reviewed to determine the applicant’s export readiness for participation in the B2B matchmaking program. Preference will be given to experienced exporters expanding their presence in the offshore wind and renewable energy value chain and aligning their products, services, and technologies to meet global clean energy demand.

Only fully completed applications will be considered. All applicants will be contacted and notified of acceptance in a timely manner.

Mission participation fee: $2,280.00 ($2,000.00 + $280.00 HST) per company
(One (1) full conference delegate pass is included.)

Travel, accommodation, meals, and any additional passes are the responsibility of participants. Partial travel funding may be available for MRC members (pending CanExport approval in early 2026 and available on a first-come, first-served basis). Nova Scotia companies may also apply to the Export Development Program. Companies are encouraged to discuss eligibility with funding program contacts before committing to the mission.

Step 2: Complete the online application form, including payment, with Marine Renewables Canada.
