Trade Mission to Pakistan - Maritime Industry From 09-15 February 2023

We are inviting UK firms to join our trade mission to Pakistan from 9-15 February, to explore business collaborations and develop contacts with key stakeholders as there are excellent opportunities. Pakistan Britain Business Council will be organising an official trade mission to Pakistan with a focus on Maritime industry. Please note mission participants can be from various different industry sectors and are not restricted to Maritime sector.

 The plan is to attend a three-day event, Pakistan International Maritime Expo & Conference (PIMEC) in Karachi, comprising a large-scale exhibition with local and international representation, there will be strategic & innovative discussions at the conferences and a great deal of networking opportunities.

The Expo commences on 10th and concludes on 12th February. In addition, we propose to visit two other locations besides Karachi, we will spend a day in the capital Islamabad on 13th and the final 2 days in the cultural city Lahore, from 14-15th; this will include meetings with senior figures from the public and the private sector, connecting with experts & professionals on the ground, such as regional Chambers of Commerce, business associations, senior government officials, local businesses etc. Closing date for mission: Monday 23rd January 2023.

A large part of the workforce is proficient in English, hardworking and intelligent. Pakistan possesses a large pool of trained and experienced engineers, bankers, lawyers and other professionals with many having substantial international experience.
