About this Event

Join us as we team up with farmers Lindy Kloepfer and Daniel Guzman of  The Little Farm Tractor School on Sunday, November 14 for “Tractors: Soil Health and Safety with the Little Fox Tractor School”  hosted at Little Fox Farm in Douglasville, GA.  Attendees will spend the afternoon learning tractor safety and education, strategies for utilizing tractors to optimize soil health and gain a deeper understanding of cover cropping using a tractor.

This field day is for any beginning farmer or farmer looking to gain knowledge on tractor safety. Attendees will walk away with:

  • Basic understanding of how to optimize soil health using a tractor
  • Basic understanding of cover cropping using a tractor
  • Education on tractor safety
  • Taking the pre-requisite tractor safety course with Little Fox Tractor School – attendees will now be able to take more advanced tractor courses with Lindy and Daniel as they become available

Daniel Guzman has farmed in Georgia for the last 10 years. Prior to farming, he worked as a mechanic at General Motors Company (GMC), where he repaired and modified industrial machines and equipment. Now Daniel is sharing his experience by teaching tractor safety and maintenance lessons. Lindy Kloepfer has owned and operated Little Fox Farm for the last 6 years. She grows vegetables and cut flowers on leased land in Douglasville. Learn more about the Little Fox Tractor School and their fundraising efforts, here.
