Hi Moms!
Recently, myself and a couple other moms started a non profit, Twin Peaks League, whose mission is to raise and distribute sports and recreational scholarships to families in the Goffstown and New Boston communities. Additionally, we want to create some social opportunities that are mostly free, for moms to get together and meet other moms- moms new to town, moms who are looking to make new friendships, moms who haven't quite found a place where they feel like they belong, or just other moms who always have more room at their table to make a new friend!
Personally, I'm an introvert, so socializing isn't the easiest for me. But I also know how important community is, and how I want to be an example for my kids on what it means to be inclusive and welcoming. I also want all the kids in our town to be raised somewhere where their biggest support person is also very supported. And all this, while exploring and enjoying the resources our towns have available to us. We live in a beautiful place 🫶
So please join us! We will coordinate one get together a month, mostly free, and you are ALL welcome! We promise we will greet you upon arrival and help you feel comfortable and welcomed.
On Monday, July 13th, meet us at Glen Lake, behind the Parks and Rec Department for a community float! Bring a float device and a seltzer and a snack and let's float around and chat! 6-7:30pm.
We are looking forward to meeting some women we haven't met before, and seeing some we have!
