TPA IES : Lighten Up! Luminaire Competition

Lighten Up! Luminaire Competition
Participants will be divided into teams evenly, where the teams will design and build a luminaire with craft materials, a light source and controls provided. You will be given a theme for the design at the beginning of the slotted time, this theme will help guide you in your creation process as well as leaning on your team members expertise.

There will be two awards a 'Peoples Choice' Award and a 'Judges Choice' Award. Peoples choice award will be chosen by all in attendance at the event, and Judges choice will be from our judge panel and the luminaire chosen will go on to national judging between other IES Sections.

This competition is open to all designer types, all engineers, students and all Lighting professionals (reps / sales/ photometry experts).
