Toys for Tots Take Over!!!
We spent 3 years in Hernando County and 3 years in Marion county, it’s time we bring our goodwill and excitement somewhere new!
For our 7th year running, the Kayak Junkies will be taking our Toys for Tots event over to Orange County and turning it into a weekend full of camping and festive fun!!
The Kayak Junkies have rented out Camp Joy in Apopka, FL and will be planning 3 days of paddles, camping, pot lucks, fun games (on and off the water), Christmas decorating contests, prizes, raffles, and so much more!
Camp ground will accommodate up to 300 of Santa’s elves with limited bunk house space available on a first come first serve basis.
Primitive camping (no electric although bathhouses are available) will be $10 per person, yes, this includes both Friday and Saturday nights!
Co-ed Bunkhouse is $20 per person for both nights although space is limited to 20 people on a first come first serve basis. Unfortunately we won’t be holding spots without payment.
Those not wanting to camp, no worries, you’re still invited to come join in on the fun for the main event! Saturday Dec. 5th we’ll have our Toys for Tots collection event, Photo Ops with Santa, contests, food, prizes, 50/50, and a full day of paddling from Camp Joy down to Wekiva Island.
