We’re excited to welcome Toy Tonics back for their third trip down under — this time for a special daytime affair at Howler’s Garden Bar.
Arpy Brown:
Renowned for cleverly fusing different musical influences into timeless contemporary jams, Arpy Brown is the musical moniker of Robin Paul Braum. Based between Berlin and London, he’s become an integral part of both cities’ scenes in recent years, while also spreading his wings further afield on the global touring circuit. Alongside Toy Tonics, he has released music and remixes for the likes of Aus Music, Rhythm Section and Kitsuné Musique. Taking a communal approach to music making, Robin co-founded Athlete Whippet together with long-term friend and collaborator Aviram Barath, who he also co-ran artist collective and record label Squareglass with at the time. That ethos has found a perfect match in Toy Tonics, where Arpy Brown’s forward-thinking, dancefloor-ready sound sits naturally within the label’s eclectic roster.
David Bay:
David Bay is a producer, DJ, and electronic live act from St. Pauli, Hamburg, blending indie attitude with the pulse of disco and house. Known for his 70s-infused, analog-driven sound, he creates music that feels both timeless and modern, balancing dancefloor energy with strong songwriting. On stage, he delivers a cinematic experience marked by vintage aesthetics and commanding grooves, while his productions fuse sharp electronic edges with organic textures. Releases on leading labels including Toy Tonics, Nervous Records, and Future Disco highlight his distinctive voice in contemporary European disco and house. Now firmly aligned with Toy Tonics, Bay is preparing to release his debut album on the label in March 2026, marking a defining moment in his artistic evolution.
