Patricia Hunt is a Regents Professor in the School of Molecular Biosciences at Washington State University, Pullman, WA. Her research focuses on understanding the high frequency of chromosomally abnormal eggs produced by human females and why the incidence is so strongly impacted by advancing maternal age.
Baskut Tuncak is an international lawyer and policy expert specializing in toxic chemicals, environmental health, and human rights. From 2014 to 2020, he served as the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the human rights implications of hazardous substances and wastes at the United Nations Human Rights Council. In this role, he investigated the impacts of toxic chemical exposures on communities around the world and advised governments, businesses, and international organizations on policies to better protect human health and the environment.
