Art Historian Deborah Pollack will present her newest work Florida Sculptors and Their Work 1880-2020. Capturing the Sunshine State's essence, this well-researched and generously illustrated volume tells the fascinating stories of these creative people and reveals secrets behind their three-dimensional artโfrom realistic to abstract to folk art. Discover how Florida has inspired such world-renowned artists as Augusta Savage, Duane Hanson, Richard Anuszkiewicz, John Chamberlain, Robert Rauschenberg, and lesser-known yet highly praised sculptors. Author Pollack is a former fine art dealer and the author of a number of award-winning publications who calls Palm Beach home.Doors open at 6:00pm for check-in and refreshments. Lecture begin at 6:30pm.
