Our Annual Town Hall Meeting with a SIG & Community Service Showcase!
The first part of our meeting on September 8th will be our annual Town Hall Meeting. The Town Hall meeting gives current club members an opportunity to voice their suggestions and any concerns they may have for the club, as well as vote for the upcoming year’s board position nominees.
The second part of our meeting will be a SIG (Special Interest Groups) and Community Service showcase. Representatives from all currently active SIGs will share photos and information regarding what they have been up to throughout the year such as their projects, field trips, etc., followed by a showcase of our Community Service volunteers’ photos and events throughout the year. It will be wonderful to see all the diverse and talented activities of our members!
Also, at the September 8th meeting, club members can bring their prints in for the banquet to be included in the gallery exhibit during the Annual Banquet.
If you have not yet submitted your images for the Annual Banquet exhibit, here's how: Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Annual Banquet Exhibit" and include a thumbnail of your image, the title of your image, and how you would like your name printed on the card that will be displayed next to your image. You may enter up to two images, but please note that due to available space, we may only be able to accept one. Those accepted will be notified no later than Sept 5th.
If you are not able to bring your final product to the Sept. 8th meeting, please make arrangements to drop off your artwork with Mary Wood ([email protected]) or Rita Ritner ([email protected]) no later than Sept 19th.
