Town Ace are a noisy post-punk 4 piece launching their new single ‘Cartwheels’ on March 27 at Nighthawks, kicking off a series of planned outbursts to follow up their 2022 debut album release ‘Peers’.Driving through the inner-north, ‘Cartwheels’ draws on the insistent rhythms of Gang of Four and guitar skronk of James Chance and the Contortions, tied up in barked exhortations on killing time, the free form roots of 80's avant-garde and 70’s kraut explorations.
Joining us are partisans Carpal Tunnel Band in all their wiry glory and The Nova Fiends with their droning and driving garage joints.
