For 2024, Jon and Shell Booty will be opening the doors of their home to visitors again.We like to share the experience of this historic place and visitors can tread in the footsteps of historic figures such as Winston Churchill, The Duke of Edinburgh, Her late Majesty The Queen and even Frederick Forsyth and John Travolta!
Visitors will be able to see the Tower's heritage collection, telling the story of this fascinating RAF station. Of particular note, is a Hawker Hunter F1 fighter aircraft, which flew from the station between 1955 and 1957. The cockpit will be open for viewing.
Both civilian and military reenactors of the mid 20th Century, classic and military vehicle owners are always welcome. If anyone would like to exhibit, we offer free on-site camping for exhibitors.
Refreshments, most importantly a selection of delicious home made cake and light snacks will be available in the Tower's vintage tea shop.
Daily opening times are 1000hrs to 1600hrs. Parking and entry are free.
Whilst the ground floor and immediate outside areas are accessible for no charge during the open day, guided tours of the tower will require a ticket to be purchased in the cafe. The tours, for groups of up to 30 people, will last approximately 30 minutes and take place on the roof, giving great views of the former station and Norfolk countryside. Please be prepared for a lot of steps, dress well in the case of inclement weather, and please ensure all children are accompanied by an adult.
Tour Tickets are £2 per person, please ask at the tea shop on arrival, children 16 and under are free.
Younger children can enjoy searching the displays for some toy Dinky jet fighters whilst the adults learn all about the fascinating history of RAF West Raynham. A successful search by the children reaps rewards!
Whilst we try to cater for all, this is a listed building and lacks the disabled facilities afforded by more modern buildings. All doors are standard 30 inches wide, however assistance and/or ramps will be required to gain access over the two steps into the main entrance. Unfortunately, we also cannot offer disabled toilets. Please don't hesitate to contact us in advance with any questions about access. We will do all we can to assist.

Please follow signage. We politely ask visitors keep to the marked route as access is across neighbouring private land where business activity takes place.
