For over 55 years, Tower of Power has delivered the best in funk and soul music—beginning as soul band The Motowns. The name change resulted from a goal they had in mind. East Bay Grease defined Tower of Power’s sound and landed them with Warner Bros. Bump City, their 1972 label debut and both a Billboard 200 and R&B Albums chart success, netted hits “You’re Still A Young Man” and “Down to The Nightclub.” Gates open at 5:45 pm.
