Description: This walk will explore the current and historic issues facing water quality in False Creek, share solutions (some already ongoing) like green infrastructure, natural shorelines, and discuss ways the public can get involved.

Walk Leader: Auston Chhor is a salmon biologist, urban planning geek, and board member for False Creek Friends, a community organization advocating for a national urban marine park in False Creek by 2030

Starting place: Entrance of Science World, on the seawall

How to recognize you walk leader: Auston will be wearing a bright red shirt, with a sign

Accessibility Info: Busy sidewalks, Breaks offered along the way, Family-friendly, Wheelchair user-friendly, Bicycles welcome

Travel Tips: Main st science world station is a 2 minute walk from the meeting point. In addition, biking is easy along the seawall or nearby Adanac Bikeway. There is ample bike parking on the seawall.
