Craft spirits enthusiasts and destination distillery tourists can now experience the Brooklyn Distillery Trail for the first time on a day long excursion through New York’s most storied borough.The tour will stop at four distilleries: New York Distilling Company, Atheras Spirits, Fort Hamilton Distillery and Kings County Distillery. Guests will ride in a luxurious chauffered vehicle, stopping along the way for a local barbecue brunch.

Barrel Strength Talent was founded in 2022 by Lia Niskanen, who parlayed her management experience in distillery visitor services and tour departments into her new whiskey events and education company. Lia holds an advanced diploma in Single Malt Whisky from the Edinburgh Whisky Academy in Scotland, for whom she teaches certificate courses in NYC, and is an Executive Bourbon Steward, a title she earned from Moonshine University in Kentucky. Her undying passion for promoting and supporting whiskey and spirits makers comes full circle in the creation of this tour and she is thrilled to share the stories of Brooklyn’s bold and innovative distilleries with the public.
