Tour of Tudor Place, Georgetown

Come with us and explore historic Tudor Place in Georgetown. This in-person event offers a unique chance to step back in time and discover the stories behind this beautiful estate, owned by the Peter family who at the time also owned Montevideo in Poolesville. (Montevideo was modeled after Tudor Place.)

Learn about the lives of the people who lived and worked at Tudor Place, including enslaved and free workers, during the 19th and 20th centuries. Wander through the gardens, admire period architecture, and learn fascinating tidbits about the past.
