Tour of The Green at the Science Museum of Virginia

The Science Museum is celebrating another milestone in the greening of its campus with the completion of construction on Phase 2 of The Green in May 2024. The focus of Phase 2 was to add more greenspace and remove additional hardscape, while improving campus safety by slowing traffic and minimizing pedestrian/vehicle interactions. The project removed almost 6,000 square feet of impervious surface, planted 43 trees and added two new pollinator friendly planting beds.
