Join staff from the New Amsterdam Library for a tour of the African Burial Ground National Monument.
About this Event

We are celebrating 250 years since the founding of the United States by exploring one of our local history sites. This tour will meet at The New Amsterdam Library at 10 AM. Atendees will have the opportunity to pick up our special edition US 250 library card along with a suggested reading list of titles related to the monument. We will then walk over as a group to the Arican Bural Ground National Monument, located four blocks north of the library at 290 Broadway. After the tour, we will return to the library.

*Please note that you will be required to fill out a patron waiver form before leaving for the tour.
