Tour new TAFE Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing Centre
About this Event
We have an opportunity for members to do a private, small group tour of the $50 million Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Centre opened at TAFE Eagle Farm in 2025.
You will see the state-of-the-art digital labs and workshops providing training in:
- Robotics
- Advanced manufacturing
- Process instrumentation
- Renewable technology (hydrogen and solar)
- Telecommunications
Hear from a Queensland business that has already invested in automation
The morning will also include a spotlight on automation in industry, including digital twins, 2D and 3D modelling, robotic processing and fabrication, digital visualisation tools, and more.
Joining the tour will be Des Watkins from Watkins Steel, a Queensland manufacturer who has deeply invested in state-of-the-art automation, and can share his lessons.
Tell TAFE what you need
A roundtable discussion will follow the tour to review your future skills and workforce priorities with key decision makers from TAFE Queensland.
This is an opportunity to see the latest TAFE offering and help shape the skills and training facilities of the future.
I hope you – or a member of your team – can join us. Spots are strictly limited.
