It is estimated that 80,000 people in the US will delay Cancer related health care during 2020,what that means is there are a lot of people in our community who need help. When the Crew heard this alarming statistic, we knew we had to find a way to host the Tour de Brew QC, so we figured it out.

Saturday, October 2, 2021, is the day to come join the Crew and enjoy a brew or two as we ride bikes, sing songs, fist bump, and have some “SOCIALLY DISTANCED” FUN!!

2021 marks our 7th Year of hosting Tour de Brew QC and we know it will look different in some ways, but we have an amazing lineup of ride stops and great sponsors who have come together to help us make a difference. Now all we need is YOU to make it the BIGGEST YEAR YET!!! And…… to thank you for standing by us during a Historic Flood and a Global Pandemic, THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE TO PARTICIPATE IN TOUR DE BREW QC 2021!!!! With that being said throughout the day you will see Crew members with their donation buckets, SO BE GENEROUS AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE, and make a donation to Katie’s Club and our Partner Charities Livestrong at the YMCA and Children’s Cancer Connection. Our Mission hasn’t changed so please continue to support our Mission!

Where are we starting this year?

You pick. You can start from wherever you would like! This year will be a little different. There will be no specific start or end location. Approximately 10 days prior to the ride, we will provide all registered participants, via e-mail, the Sponsor stop locations and you do the route however you want within the allotted time period that the Sponsor locations will establish!

What Time Does the Ride Start?

All participating businesses are being asked to be open by 11:00 AM. Please check in on Facebook as we keep you in the loop of each Sponsor stop details and specials. All regulations regarding occupancy and the like that are in effect on October 2, 2021, will be observed. Please watch for updates on Facebook and your participant letters.

What do you mean it is Free this year?

Yep, you read it right we are not charging for Tour de Brew QC in 2021. Our hope is that you will ride in honor or in remembrance of a family member, a close friend, or maybe even your own cancer journey, and if you feel so moved to do so, we would ask that you make a free will donation to our organization. There will be Crew members popping up throughout the day with donation buckets.

The ride will be the Tour de Brew QC you have grown to love over the past 7 years but different.

Will Masks be Required?

We will follow CDC guidelines at the time of the ride. Remember individual businesses may have their own policies and the expectation is that all Tour De Brew QC participants will follow them.

Is there a Silent Auction?

We are planning on a silent auction stay tuned for details. If 2020 was good to you and you would like to donate a silent auction basket or gift, please e-mail the Crew and we will make arrangements to pick up the donation.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Most venues are open to all ages. If you plan to order an alcoholic drink you will need an ID.

What is my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There are parking lots and non-metered street parking in all of our local Quad Cities, and of course if you are local you can always just ride your bike from home…extra miles are good miles!

What can I bring into the event?

Anything you would need to be outside on a bike ride. Helmet, Lights, Money, Water, Sunscreen, Bug Spray

What's the refund policy?

Did we mention in 2021 the ride is FREE!.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. Since there is no formal start or end location, you will only need your e-mail confirmation or ticket if a Sponsor stop location asks for it in order for you to receive any discount or special they are running.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, you will need to log into your Eventbrite account to do this.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes
