Join us for a special program in April. Over 160 years ago, Fort Barrancas became a staging ground for United States military forces, including soldiers in the U.S. Colored Troops, who participated in one of the last major campaigns of the American Civil War. On the anniversary of the 1865 Mobile Campaign, join a park ranger on a guided tour of Fort Barrancas and Advanced Redoubt to explore and reflect on the site's Civil War history. Meet in front of Fort Barrancas Visitor Center. Note: Fort Barrancas Area is located aboard the U.S. Navy's Naval Air Station Pensacola.
