Touch HighQ Sundays: Boundaries, Play & Embodied Power
About this Event
Sundays are for coming back to yourself. Welcome to Touch HighQ Sundays. Hosted at Trap Yoga, this is your weekly space to drop the "performance" of the week and tap into your own embodied power. This isn't just about relaxing—it’s about regulating your nervous system so you can start your week from a place of clarity, not chaos.
This is a practice lab for your nervous system. We use structured play, gentle movement, and clear communication to help you find your "yes," own your "no," and deepen your capacity for connection.
What we’re playing with:
- Consent Games: We take the pressure off. Learn how to navigate boundaries and desire in a way that feels natural, safe, and fun.
- Nervous System Reset: We use somatic grounding to move you out of "fight-or-flight" and into a state of deep, restorative presence.
- Embodied Power: Discover your unique "Touch Type" and learn to communicate what you need to feel grounded and centered.
- The No-Performance Zone: Leave the persona at the door. Here, there’s no pressure to be anything other than exactly who you are.
No partner? No problem. Whether you come solo or with a friend, you are always the authority on your own body. All exercises are 100% invitational. You choose your level of participation.
About the Facilitator: Dr. Alissa Gardenhire is a Harvard-trained researcher and founder of Touch HighQ™. She specializes in creating rigorous, consent-forward spaces that help you build the skills for true, embodied leadership and sustainable rest.
Come as you are. Leave a little more powerful, and a whole lot more grounded.
