Inspired by the Photo Show Lyn Corelle organized last year (and the fact the the internet is dying), I am putting together an analog art show August 25th at The Landing Strip - 2614 30th Ave. S. Minneapolis, MNEveryone is welcome to participate! Come by at 1pm with your drawings, paintings, collages, textiles, film photos, etc. for display clipped to clotheslines (and a limited number of easels). Let's all touch grass together! ?
Note To Parents: I would love for kiddos to participate in this show, but I cannot promise that all artwork on display will be "family friendly."
Q: Can you sell your work?
A: Sure, but that's up to you. I will not be handling sales.
Q: Wait, what time is it?
A: Artists come at 1pm to set up. Visitors come from 2-6pm to see it.
Q: What is The Landing Strip anyway?
A: It's a small plot of land used a community garden and meeting space.
Q: I draw on a tablet. Can I display my work?
A: Nah, that's not what this show is for.
Q: I am not local. Can I still participate?
A: Maybe! Get in touch and let's see if we can figure something out.
Q: What if it rains?
A: If the forecast calls for rain, I will reschedule. But remember that your artwork will be outside and could get damaged.
