About this Event
Note: Eventbrite emails end up in spam, please retrieve them so that we can be in touch.
đż What to Expect
2 hours of simple, guided exercises to connect with nature through your senses.
Youâll get clear instructions, gentle guidance, and space to share or stay quietâwhatever feels comfortable for you. The event is in English.
Weâll meet at 13:00 at one of the smaller park entrances, acros from the Vrijburg church on Diepenbrockstraat 46, 1077 WB Amsterdam (https://maps.app.goo.gl/FiVMXbNNeV9sLYHo8) and we walk together to the spot where our circle and other activities will take place.
By 15:00, weâll be back at the entrance where we started.
đ Why Join?
Because nature is the best! And so are queers! And so is community!
Spending time in nature supports health and wellbeing â it helps us relax, recharge, and feel more connected to ourselves and others.
Itâs likely going to be fun!
Youâll meet new queers or spend time with familiar faces, all while surrounded by trees and fresh air.
đ« What This Is Not
- Not nature therapy â itâs a nature connection activity.
- Not a herbal medicine walk.
- Not a ritual.
đ Cost
Because Iâm still in training to become a Nature Connection Guide with the Forest Therapy Hub https://foresttherapyhub.com/, this session is free.
Your feedback afterwards will be very appreciated â it helps me grow and improve my practice.
đŸ Who Is This For?
Queer folks and their besties/ best allies ever who love nature â or who want to explore what itâs like to be more present and connected in nature.
To help create a safe-enough space, all participants will be asked to fill out a short form in advance (about mobility, allergies, or anything else youâd like me to know as your guide).
If you cannot make it, please cancel in advance, so that someone else can take your spot.
đ What to Bring
- Sturdy shoes
- Rainproof clothes and/or an umbrella
- Water, tea, or a small snack
- Extra layer of clothing in case it gets chilly
(The event will take place even if it rains light-medium)
đ”ïž Who Is Organising this?
Noa is a nature connection guide and a counseling therapist in training. They spent 15 years in activism and they are now spending most of their time either touching grass, or bringing people together to touch grass. Solidarity, community and simplicity are at the core of their work. They always appreciate a dad joke and a crunchy snack.
