About this Event
Explore, create, and connect in nature's boundless playground. Our curated day events are designed to immerse you in the beauty of nature while igniting your creative spark.
Together we’ll explore the seasonal plants growing wild around us, learning how to confidently identify common edible and medicinal species and understand how spring herbs support the body after winter.
The session will include hands-on plant identification, herbal insights, a meditative tea tasting using seasonal plants, and space to slow down, connect with the land and each other.
You’ll leave with practical knowledge, a deeper relationship to the landscape, and simple ways to begin working with local plants safely and respectfully.
Come curious, dress for the weather, and prepare to see your local environment with new eyes
This session will be led by Bekah from Earthchild Remedies. Bekah (she/her) is a British-Jamaican Western and Caribbean Herbalist, Wellbeing and Menstrual Health Practitioner, Urban Foraging, Sacred Circle and Visual Arts Facilitator, Environmental Educator, Cultural Producer and Photographer / Creative.

About Touch Grass
Touch Grass is an outdoor community for queer women, trans and non-binary people of colour.
We are committed to fostering community growth through outdoor gatherings and wellness-focused trips that encourage us to rekindle our relationship with nature. Our immersive experiences go beyond relaxation — they're about empowerment, healing, and forging meaningful connections.
Our vision is for queer people of colour to see the outdoors as a space where we belong. A 2020 report by Friends of the Earth found that nearly 40% of people from minority ethnic backgrounds in England live in the most green space-deprived neighbourhoods, compared with only 14% of white people — and that people from minority ethnic backgrounds are significantly less likely to spend time in the countryside than white people. We want to change this. We deserve joyful, safe access to the emotional well-being and physical health benefits of nature too.
We believe creativity and nature go hand in hand, which is why most of our events encourage you to embrace nature and your inner creative spirit.
