The Lincoln American Legion Post 3 Family and Lincoln Elks Lodge #80 invites the Lincoln/Lancaster County community-at-large to join us for a family- and kid-friendly event on Saturday, September 27th, from 10am until 2pm, at 5910 S 58th Street.
We will fill the parking lot with a variety of vehicles, large and small, for the whole family to explore, climb on (and in), ask questions, and just have a fun-filled time.
Arrangements have been made with the following
agencies and companies to come to the event:
- Lincoln Police Department
- Lincoln Fire & Rescue
- Lancaster County Sheriff
- Nebraska State Patrol
- Southeast Fire & Rescue
- Lincoln Electric System
- Lincoln Transportation & Utilities
- Lancaster County Engineer
- Nebraska Department of Transportation
- MMT Ambulance
- Werner Enterprises will have one of their patriotic-themed semi tractors on display
- Lincoln City Library Bookmobile will also be there!
We will be giving away a free hotdog meal, including chips and a drink, for the first 200 attendees. And, Kona Ice will be there selling their fantastic shave ice dessert. Yummy for the tummy!
