Many of you may have heard of the JCC Maccabi Games®, an Olympic-style sporting competition held each summer in North America and the second-largest organized sports program for Jewish teenagers in the world. The Maccabi Movement began in 1895 when the first all-Jewish sports club was formed in Constantinople. The first world Maccabiah Games were held in Israel in 1932. And now… the first Maccabiah Tot Games will be held at GJC! Join Rabbi Adam and our wonderful early childhood educators for a round of lively tot-Olympic games that will have us moving and laughing! This program is geared towards children aged 1-6 and their older siblings and grown-ups and enjoyed by those of any age.
The program will take place outdoors in the Maple Tent, and we'll keep moving to stay toasty! The event begins at 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 5. Masks are required for those who are of the age to wear them. Register at https://germantownjewishcentre.org/tot-maccabiah-jam/.
GJC would like to extend thanks and gratitude to the Harold & Renee Berger Family Engagement Endowment Fund for sponsoring this event and to the Wolfe Family Foundation for their support in all GJC programming.
