Over the last decade plus of live music at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave), we have had almost any and every Tribute you can think of perform on our stage! There has been one band who we have not been able to bring in, which we get so many requests for and that’s Green Day! That all changes on Friday November 29th, when the Linsmore Tavern finally brings in St Jimmy’s Army and their tribute to legendary pop-punk band, Green Day! We are so excited to bring in this Toronto based tribute to our stage for the very first time! We know that there are a ton of Green Day fans out there, so make sure you don’t miss this one! Tickets are $7 in advance, $10 at the door!
Toronto’s Green Day Tribute – St. Jimmy’s Army is a high-energy tribute band dedicated to bringing the music and spirit of Green Day to life. The band is named after the Iconic Character = St. Jimmy the 6th song from Green Day’s album “American Idiot.” This talented group authentically recreates Green Day’s biggest songs from “Basket Case” & “Longview” to “Holiday” and “Boulevard of Broken Dreams.” They have performed short Sets around the Toronto area and are now bringing their Full Show to The Linsmore Nov 29th – Get early tickets online @ The Tavern’s website.
