Toronto PACnic

So honoured to announce that I’m the Toronto Leader for Punjabi Art Collective!

Punjabi Art Collective (PAC) is a dynamic community space dedicated to uplifting and legitimizing the work of Punjabi creatives. Over the past five years, PAC has hosted exhibitions throughout the Bay Area that celebrate Punjabi art and culture, featuring both local and international artists. Today, we are expanding our reach globally, building a growing network of Punjabi creatives who learn from, support, and create with one another.

We’re big on being accessible to all, so all of our programming is intentionally curated in order to accommodate everyone to best of our ability!

We finalized to hold a PACnic Potluck because we want Punjabi individuals to connect with one another in an organic and laidback way!

There is flexible agenda since this is a drop in event! We encourage attendees to bring something small and heat friendly such as:

-chips

-granola bars

-juice boxes

-fruit

-crackers

-coconut water

-dried snacks

More information about Chand:

Chand Bhangal (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary creative who is passionate about decolonization, cultural preservation and authentic representation. She identifies as a Punjabi-Canadian woman and her artistic philosophies and values are heavily influenced by her Punjabi culture and community. The ethos behind her work is to build a diverse and inclusive artistic community, in which cultures and communities are honoured and celebrated in order to build solidarity.
