About this Event

When the city starts to rise up and become to much, we retreat into mind, body, nature and community. This half-day retreat includes 3 wellness sessions (HIIT, Myofascial Release, Gentle Yoga) themed around Resilience and Recovery to build physical and mental strength. Combined with some guided journaling to help you reflect and reset.

All levels welcome, come as you are to escape the city and enjoy the beautiful island!

Arrival - Ward's Island (Island Cafe)

Info: Take the 9:30am ferry to Ward's or grab a water taxi. We'll meet 10am at the Island Cafe, grab a morning beverage and walk together to the event area.

Opening + Orientation

Info: We introduce the flow of the day, starting with some introductory embodiment exercises to get ourselves out of our shells and ready to let loose.


🕑: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
HIIT with Michelle

Info: High-itensity interval training meets fresh air and open space. This session uses bodyweight movements to get your heart rate up, build strength, and shake off whatever you carried in from the city. Just you, the outdoors, and a willingness to move. Leave feeling energized, grounded, and ready for the rest of the day.

Myofascial Release with Oliver

Info: Rolling out or Myofascial Release is an independent approach to trigger point therapy that you can take with you wherever you go. Learn to use your hands and a lacrosse ball to release knots in muscles throughout the tightest parts of your body.


🕑: 01:00 PM - 01:45 PM
Lunch Break (45 min)

Info: Bring a packed lunch or pick one up from the cafe in the morning


🕑: 01:45 PM - 02:30 PM
Gentle Yoga + Journaling with Victoria

Info: Slow down with gentle yoga and guided meditation to prepare the body and mind for rest. No more doing, just being. We let out nervous systems settle to make space for dreaming and planting seeds of intention.


🕑: 02:30 PM - 03:00 PM
Closing followed by free time

Info: After we wrap, the time is yours to do as you like --nap, swim, explore the island with new friends, or head back to the city refreshed
