Friday, August 19: Between Two Di’s
Set one: Her by Toronto’s Dianne Montgomery (TITDF Commission).
Set two: Dianne Walker (Boston), featuring the dancers from our new generation residency program.
Saturday, August 20: Convergence
Set one: (in)sight a collaboration between Winnipeg's Ella Steele & Gatineau's David Lafleur (TITDF Commission), and a screening (excerpt) of Lisa La Touche's Trax (Calgary).
Set two: Supreme Love (Canadian Premiere) by Jumaane Taylor (Chicago).
Sunday, August 21: Perspectives in Rhythm
Set one: Highlighting our local excellence, including the performance ensembles from the Toronto Rhythm Initiative summer youth programs with choreography by Ella Steele, Cori Giannotta, Johnathan Morin and a participant collaboration from the pre-professional track directed by Allison Toffan. Also featured are David Cox, Tanya Knights, Travis Knights, Rhythm & Sound, and The Rhythm Ensemble.
Set two: Max Pollak (NYC).
All live performances include live music. Every evening shows are followed by a FREE jam! Head to the Brigantine Room to keep the party going from 9:30-11pm hosted by Tatiana Alfaro and her crew of musicians.
