About this Event
Toronto Event Hub by Andrea Lo has been the one behind Toronto Game Night & Toronto Dating Hub and have been hosting game night socials every month for the past 3 years!
These game nights are great whether you come solo or with friends!
Why? Because they're chill, fun and you're guaranteed to make new connections!
For August, let's take advantage of the summer while it lasts - join us for a fun evening of boards games outdoors in the park, and stay back to enjoy the Toronto Outdoor Picture Show (TOPS) movie screening at Christie Pits - for two events in one night!
What to expect?
We'll be opening up the event with a group ice breaker that gets you into teams to play our custom & interactive CrowdParty trivia! After this, you'll have free time to play board games or open mingling! Then after sundown, if you're down for an outdoor movie, stick around for the TOPS movie screening!
Don't be shy, we're all here to have some fun and make new friends!
Our game night socials typically bring out 30-60 attendees ranging from ages 19-50.

- 5:45pm-8pm (game night portion - part 1)
- 8pm-8:45pm break / switchover to grab spots for movie screening / mingle
- Sundown (approx 8:45pm) to movie end (part 2 - movie screening of "I like Movies" 2 hrs 2 min long)
Feel free to leave earlier or stay for the movie

Come to our social to make new friends and play live trivia (to win prizes!) and a variety of board games (or bring your own)!
Bring a blanket/yoga mat/lawn chair to get comfy for the games/movie portion!
You can order food & drinks nearby (lots in Koreatown) or bring your own (picnic style)

Open to couples or singles - 19+ ages
Pricing:
The ticket cost covers your event fee, trivia & chance to win prizes, board game fun and the event hosting, curation & organization. Eventbrite charges separate fees to use their service. No refunds.
Drop in rate is $15 at the door payable by cash or etransfer between 5:45pm-8pm
This event is open to everyone (19+) - singles, couples - all those who are looking to have a good time and make new connections!
Note: We are NOT affiliated with Toronto Outdoor Picture Show (TOPS) and their movie screenings in any way. We just wanted to highlight their work and leverage their movie screening to enhance our event / bring this great offering to our community!

What should I bring?
- Gov issued ID as this is a 19+ event
- Your amazing self!
- Optional to bring your fave board game(s)
- BYOBlanket & Chairs - whatever you need if you stay to watch the movie screening outdoors / at night
- Bring a sweater / jacket / umbrella / sunscreen/bug spray /hat - whatever you need to be comfy for the outdoors
Will there be food & drinks?
Food and drinks are not included in the ticket cost but feel free to bring or buy your own!

What is the parking situation?
You can TTC there, but if you drive - lots of street parking and on the side streets.

The ticket cost covers the event organization/hosting and curation.
There are limited tickets - total of 50 spots max. It is strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as we often sell out! Please contact us at [email protected] first before you show up to avoid disappointment.
Eventbrite charges separate fees to use their service.
No refunds will be issued should you change your mind or you can no longer make the event.
