By popular demandm Toronto Dating Hub is bringing back a singles mixer with a salsa dance lesson! We're excited to partner with Versatile Dance who are gaining popularity for their latin and kpop dance lessons (check out this fun, viral dance video we had for International Dance Day).
Join our Monday evening event to meet other Toronto singles and also take a 1 hr salsa dance class together! Learn the basic salsa footwork and simple salsa turns and combinations.
The lesson is perfect for beginners but suitable for all levels / genders! No previous dance experience required. You don't need a dance partner - we're hoping to help you meet one!
Schedule:
- Welcome & icebreakers
- Salsa lesson (1 hr from 8-9pm - don't be late) with some quick rotations built into the dance lesson
- Open Mingling format before & after the lesson

Our mixers are perfect for those who prefer organic, unstructured connection over the traditional speed dating format - allowing you to mingle freely without timed rotations.

Who should join? What if I've never danced or taken lessons?
- If you're tired standard speed dating events, try something different and join us!
- If you're interested in Latin dance, learning a new skill, or looking to make new friends - this is the event for you!
- The dance portion is only 1 hour and is perfect for all levels, but geared for beginners.
What is the salsa dance lesson like? What can I expect?
- We will do a quick warm up and then teach the basic salsa steps
- You will first learn the basics to dance individually first, and then we will partner up to learn the partnerwork basic steps/combos and rotate partners throughout the lesson so you get practice with different people
- This partner rotation is the reason why you don't need to bring a partner and is the fun way to meet with other singles!
What do I need?
- Apparel - dress up like you're going to a dance party and be date-ready!
- Flat shoes - something you feel comfortable to dance in! If you have actual dance shoes, that's perfect but not required.
Pricing:
There are limited tickets and striving for 50/50 male:female attendance. Typically drop-in dance classes cost $15-$25 and other singles events charge anywhere from $30-$50 and don't include a lesson! It is strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as we often sell out! Drop in rate is $50 (cash or etransfers only) - IF THERE ARE SPOTS LEFT (please contact the organizer first).
NO REFUNDS will be issued should you change your mind or you can no longer make the event for whatever the reason (review why we don't offer refunds). The ticket includes a $20 deposit which will be deducted from your credit amount should you NOT be able to attend the original date. NO credit will be offered if you cancel within the same day of the event or for no shows.

Andrea Lo - Founder/Host/Coach of
Andrea is a proud UTSC Co-op Management alumna who has over a decade of experience in marketing and events. She took her passion & experience and channeled it in her business venture - starting Toronto Dating Hub in May 2020 during the pandemic. It has since been featured on CBC News, Toronto Star, and Flow 93.5. The mission is to transform the way Toronto singles meet - via unique events and tailored date coaching. Because of her in-depth experience planning events, but also having been single, Andrea can not only organize creative & well organized events, she emcees the events herself, and provides coaching to clients. Hosting over 4K singles annually, Toronto Dating Hub has positively impacted the Toronto singles community.
