About this Event
Join us for an evening of connection and impact at the Toronto Bengali Young Professionals (TBYP) Networking Night, where we’ll come together not only to mix and mingle but also to make a real difference. This event will also raise funds for student victims of recent violence in Bangladesh, many of whom urgently need financial support.
Come alone or with company. There will be plenty of opportunity to network, mix and mingle with likeminded young Bengali professionals across various fields. The event will be held at the patio of Olde Stone Cottage Pub , but if the weather turns, we’ll move the party indoors.
A minimum charity donation of $20 is required to attend, but we encourage you to donate more if you’re able. All proceeds from ticket sale will be donated through our partner, Bachar Lorai, an international charity dedicated to supporting injured students in Bangladesh who are in critical financial need. Your generosity can make a world of difference and bring hope to those who need it most.
What to Expect:
- Mix & Mingle: Join to connect, converse, and create lasting relationships with likeminded young Bengali professionals across various fields.
- Potential Icebreakers: If we get to do icebreakers, it will centered around the question: How can the international Bengali community contribute to rebuilding Bangladesh? We welcome all progressive, innovative ideas and hope to foster meaningful dialogue on how we, as a diaspora, can be agents of positive change.
- Chariy Presetation: Our partner, Bachar Lorai, will provide insights into how your generous donations will be distributed to support injured students in Bangladesh.
TBYP is a platform where we host regular meetup events to connect young progressive Bengali professionals from Toronto to network. Our goal is a provide a space for progressive open minded young Bengali professionals to network, connect, grow and have a great time together.
