Tops are Tops with Science Outside the Box

Participants will try out Hardware Store Tops, optical illusion disks, and launchers and record results and reactions in mini-lab notebooks. We will figure out what makes a spinning top more stable and what affects its spinning speed and time. Registration is required for this STEM program and limited to kids ages 5 and up. This program will be held on the library lawn. Please bring a blanket or chair. Unvaccinated patrons should wear a mask if they are unable to social distance.
Masks are required inside the library for unvaccinated people over the age of 2.
In the event of rain, we will reschedule for an alternative date!
