Tournament Rules & Terms
Random Player Pairing
- Players register individually.
- Opponents will be assigned randomly by tournament organizers.
- Team pairings are final once announced.
- Requests for specific opponents are not permitted.
Tournament Format
- Single-elimination bracket.
- One loss results in elimination from the tournament.
- Bracket seeding and structure will be determined by organizers.
- Match rules may be adjusted to ensure tournament fairness and schedule adherence.
Match Schedules
- Official match times, brackets, and opponent pairings will be communicated approximately two weeks before the event.
- Participants are responsible for monitoring tournament communications and updates.
- Failure to arrive on time may result in forfeiture.
Controller Policy
- Players may bring their own compatible PS5 controllers/gamepads.
- Controllers must be fully functional and tournament-ready.
- Organizers reserve the right to inspect devices if necessary.
- Backup controllers may be available but are not guaranteed.
Check-In Requirements
- Participants should arrive at least 30 minutes before their first scheduled match.
- Valid registration confirmation must be presented at check-in.
- Late arrivals may receive a warning or forfeit depending on tournament timing.
Gameplay & Conduct
- Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
- Abuse, harassment, cheating, exploitation of game bugs, or disruptive behavior may result in immediate disqualification.
- All organizer decisions are final.
- Respect toward players, staff, sponsors, and venue personnel is expected at all times.
Technical Issues
- Technical issues must be reported immediately.
- Tournament officials will determine whether a match restart is warranted.
- Organizers reserve the final decision regarding disconnects and equipment-related disputes.
Photography & Media
- By participating, players consent to event photography, livestreaming, videography, and promotional content usage.
- Tournament footage and images may be used for future Topflight FC, TEPIDA, and A-Zone promotional materials.
Changes & Cancellations
- Organizers reserve the right to amend tournament rules, prize structure, format, schedules, or event operations if necessary.
- Any significant updates will be communicated to registered participants.
