Both bands have emerged from the thriving resurgence of the shoegaze scene, which continues to attract a wave of fresh interest.
Headlining shows at cult venues in London and touring across the UK, Toothpaste have previously supported scene giants Slowdive, Swervedriver, bdrmm, sunnbrella, Froth, and countless others. The band have quickly become an essential component of shoegaze’s latent revival.
Meanwhile, Cheerless, is gearing up for an exciting end to the year with the launch of their debut EP. Their recent single "003" secured the 16th spot on Farout Magazine's 50 Best Songs of 2023, earning them buzz on John Kennedy's X Radio show and Tom Robinson's Fresh On The Net, solidifying their rising influence in the scene.
