In this session we will look at alternative ways of communicating, supporting transitions and making the day easier to process, including -

Visual supports

Comic strip conversations

Social stories

Now/next/then

These tools use the principles that visualization and visual supports may improve basic understanding and comprehension of conversation and help Neurodivergent children and young people to identify effective responses to different situations.
