Calling all future builders, creators, and dreamers!

Join Girls Build Kalamazoo for Tools & Tutus, a fun and empowering hands-on workshop designed especially for girls in 3rd–5th grade. This unique event combines the sparkle of tutus with the confidence-building power of tools as participants are introduced to the exciting world of construction, creativity, and skilled trades.

Girls will learn basic tool safety, explore beginner building skills, and complete a fun hands-on project to take home. No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity, creativity, and willingness to try something new!

At Girls Build Kalamazoo, we believe girls can be both strong and stylish, confident and creative. Through engaging activities and positive mentorship, we help girls discover new talents, build self-confidence, and see themselves as future leaders, builders, and problem-solvers.
