BIG NEWS! The Toolbox Repair Cafe has a new location! That's right, starting March, we'll be at Common Ground Hall, 8 Hawdon Pl, Dickson 2602 - right next door to Stepping Stone Cafe. Look for more info and updates coming soon.Note that the Toolbox itself is NOT moving, just the Repair Cafe event.
HOW IT WORKS:
Repair Cafes: Where volunteers fix your stuff - for free.
You bring your broken and not-working item along to the Repair Cafe any time between the advertised start and end (though we do encourage you to arrive at least 30 min before we need to pack up). We match you with a volunteer repairer who can hopefully diagnose the problem, and complete the fix for you.
Repairers available this month will be updated before the event - watch this space. Typical repairs include small electrical (eg lamps, kitchen appliances), knife and secateur sharpening, general repairs (eg gluing back small pieces), and fabric repairs (eg hemming, patching) - often more, depending on who's available.

The Community Toolbox Canberra Repair Café runs on the last Saturday of the month between 2pm and 5pm.
