Newton is also a Hollywood Music Akademia, “Hall of Fame” inductee as of May, 2024 Newton’s legendary Motown history as the baby funk brother and playing with all the Motown Artists in concert Stevie Wonder, Supremes, Temptations, Martha & Vandellas, Marvin Gaye and others as well as Music Director for Smokey and the Miracles, his own timeless songs from his award-winning 5 albums with “Dr. Dance and “Stop That Shit” hits worldwide. His fusion instrumental compositions such as “Snake Oil” and “Red Alert” being two of the ground breaking rock-fusion era, still continue to this day to have a powerful impact and emotional response from today’s music listeners and appreciators of innovative music. In Addition, legendary guitarists Robby Krieger of the Famous “DOORS” and music icon Jeff Beck both have recorded and performed Newton’s classics.
