Tony Lindsay is the longest-tenured lead singer in Santana's history, the voice out front through the band's biggest years. As the group's principal vocalist he sang on Supernatural (1999), one of the best-selling albums ever made at more than 30 million copies, with credits on five of its tracks, among them "The Calling" and "(Da Le) Yaleo." That album swept eight Grammy Awards in a single night, tying the all-time record, with honors that included Album of the Year and Record of the Year.

A Bay Area fixture since 1980, Lindsay has long drawn comparison to the masters of his craft; producer Narada Michael Walden once placed his voice in the company of Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, and Ray Charles. At Biscuits & Blues he leads the Future Perfect Band, with Tommie Bradford on drums, Janice Maxie-Reid on keys, Eddie Mininfield on saxophone, Cedricke Dennis on guitar, and David Jones on bass. One of soul music's great living voices, in a room built for exactly that.
