Headline set from star of Stewart Lee's Alternative Comedy Vehicle & NETFLIX's KAOS... TONY LAW!
Tony Law is one of those ‘once seen never forgotten’ acts. He’s really like nothing you’ve ever seen been before and if he’s on the bill the show is a real ‘dont miss this’. No wonder then that this Canadian surrealist and master story-teller is a three-time Chortle Award winner, Amused Moose Best Show winner and Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee.
This super funny lunatic always presents nonsense, absurdity and dollops of weird joy. Expect to hear and see anything from history and ghosts, and cats and dogs and wars and ducks and Britophilia. The older man with a childish mind and a naughty streak is always entertaining and original and naturally funny but not afraid to do simple shouty silly voices.
His extensive TV and radio credits include:
Have I Got News For You(BBC One), The Alternative Comedy Experience (Comedy Central), 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Celebrity Mastermind (BBC One), Celebrity Squares (ITV) Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC Two), Heading Out (BBC Two), The Culture Show (BBC Two), Charlie Brooker’s Weekly Wipe (BBC Two), Edinburgh Nights (BBC Two), Tony Law’s Surreal Guide To Surreal Comedy (Radio 4 Extra), Loose Ends and Infinite Monkey Cage (Radio 4).
“Takes post-modern stand-up to a dangerously funny new level” The Guardian
‘The King of post-modern nonsense” Telegraph
With support from star of Live at the Apollo SPRING DAY!
As seen on BBC’s Live at the Apollo, Spring Day is an American stand-up comedian, writer and actor in London. Spring’s uniquely acerbic and sassy style of comedy is always a crowd pleaser, or shocker... A fluent Japanese speaker and a mild cerebral palsy haver, Spring began her career headlining at the Tokyo Comedy Store whilst based in Japan. She has written, produced, directed and performed seven solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has also written for and appeared in BBC Three sitcom Jerk; performed on UKTV's Rosie Jones's Disability Extravaganza; and has written for BBC’s Horrible Histories, Horrible Science, as well as, Audible’s first ever musical comedy—Crush Hour. She is hosting Impatient Productions latest BBC 4 Radio show 13 Million Club broadcasting in 2025.
"Spring's gimlet-eyed perspective on life belies her Summer of Love name, but Tokyo's most prolific comic can't hide her underlying joy of life, even while recounting darker tales of love and loss in Tokyo." -Chris Wells, Owner, Tokyo Comedy Store
