Anthony (“Tony”) Flanagan is a drummer, bandleader and composer living in Edmonton, Alberta. Since moving to Edmonton to undertake a Bachelor's Degree in Music from MacEwan University, Tony has established himself as an emerging voice in Edmonton’s rich music scene, having performed at the Yardbird Suite, Edmonton Jazz Festival, Kaleido Festival, and the Blue Chair as a sideman and bandleader. Having recently graduated from MacEwan University, Tony's quartet brings together some of the program's fastest-developing and hardest-working young musicians. These musicians are each making their debut at the festival this year and will certainly be names to watch out for in the future.
