Celano–Sued–Renfrow: Playing the Music of Monk
This dynamic trio brings a fresh perspective to the timeless compositions of Thelonious Monk. With Guillermo Celano’s inventive guitar work, Natalio Sued’s expressive saxophone voice, and Tristan Renfrow’s creative drumming, the group balances deep respect for Monk’s legacy with adventurous improvisation and bold reinterpretations. Their performances highlight both the quirky brilliance and the enduring swing of Monk’s music, offering audiences a mix of familiarity and surprise.

Baars/Brouskari/Semey/Baggiani
This quartet unfolds in layers: tender and raw, searching and grounded, weaving polyphonic textures and rhythmic interplay.
Their music grows out of the uncompromising individuality of its members, and the willingness to let those voices intertwine.
It unravels itself from the give-and-take between these exceptional improvisers, from the courage to follow intuition, and the honesty of each musician’s contribution; a meet in sound—when shared histories, instincts, and imaginations collide.
That collision creates music that cannot be repeated, only lived.
